Glucose and insulin levels as well as calculated HOMA-IR and HOMA-β-cell levels are shown for 60-week old wild-type (gckw/w) and liver-specific gck knockout (gckw/–) mice as well as gck knockout mice treated with insulin or rosigitizone for 4 weeks. n = 6 for all samples. Asterisk (*) refers to statistical significance (P < 0.05) in comparisons with gckw/– mice, while #refers to comparisons with gckw/w mice.
