  1. Plasma insulin was measured at 30 min after oral administration of CAPA (1 mg/kg) in overnight fasted rats. Data (mean ± SEM) were obtained from 8 animals. *P < 0.05 compared with the pre-treatment animals and examined by the paired t-test.
