Binary logistic regression analyses were performed with the presence of carotid atherosclerosis as the dependent variable and with risk factors including age, sex, hypertension, SBP, BMI, HDL-C, LDL-C, FPG, FCP, HA1C, mean CIMT, and diabetic ketosis as independent variables. The table only includes sex and variables significantly associated with carotid atherosclerosis.
