A Electron microscopy showed that with the progression of the disease, the mitochondrial damage of cardiomyocytes of diabetic pigs was aggravated, and myofilament injury appeared. At 16 months, the local myocardial fibers were broken (red arrow) and the interfascicular interval of myocardium was widened.
