The relationship between vascular reactivity and number of components of metabolic syndrome in men without visceral obesity (n = 12, waist circumference <85 cm) or with visceral obesity (n = 25, waist circumference ≥85 cm). Subjects were divided into groups with 0, 1 or 2 ≥of the following metabolic syndrome components: high level of fasting glucose, elevated blood pressure, hypertriglyceridemia, and low level of HDL cholesterol.
