Black bars are additionally adjusted for body mass index waist circumference, smoking, physical activity, alcohol intake, medical history of cancer, myocardial infarction, and stroke, corticosteroid medication, and in women only menopausal status and hormone replacement therapy. Normal weight refers to BMI below 25, over weight refers to BMI of 25 to 30, and obese refers to BMI over and equal to 30
