HG induces nuclear p300 activity and H3K9 acetylation. p300 activity and H3K9 acetylation are reduced by siRNA directed at nuclear p300 in H9c2 cardiomyoblasts. (a); Nuclear p300 activity was increased in HG media in a time dependent manner, maximal around 48 hours, as is H3K9 acetylation.
