The up-regulation of COX-2 expression by diabetic apoHDL&PL was blocked by VPC23019. The up-regulation of COX-2 expression by diabetic apoHDL&PL was blocked by S1PR1 and S1PR3 antagonist (VPC23019). A-B: HUVECs were pre-incubated with or without VPC 23019 (15 nmol/ml) for 20 minutes and further separately stimulated with 30 μg/ml of N-apoHDL&PL or D-apoHDL&PL, expression of COX-2 was assayed by Western blotting (A), the relative protein expression was normalized by β-actin (B) and the production of PGI-2 was determined by competitive ELISA (C).
