From: RhoA/ROCK-dependent moesin phosphorylation regulates AGE-induced endothelial cellular response
Expression of moesinT558A attenuated AGE-HSA induced phosphorylation of moesin. HUVECs transfected with plasmid pcDNA3/HA-moesinT558A were stimulated with 50 mg/L AGE-HSA for 1 h. Plasmid pcDNA3/HA-moesinT558D was transfected to HUVECs without AGE-HSA stimulation. The phosphorylation of moesin was detected with immunoblotting. Vector pcDNA3/HA or inhibited moesin mutant pcDNA3/HA-moesinT558A alone was also transfected to HUVECs respectively.
