(B) The identical Western blot incubated with a specific antibody directed to phospho-Akt (Ser473). The insulin- mediated increase of phosphorylated Akt was abolished by the administration of an intermediated concentration of the PI3K-Inhibitor Wortmaninn, where Wortmaninn per se had no effect on phospho-Akt (C).
