Relationship between fasting plasma glucose (FPG) and high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) according to gender. In women, hsCRP increased significantly and progressively with increasing FPG (r = 0.169, P < 0.001). Test of significance was based on log-transformed values for analysis.
